Many thanks to my good friend Jennifer Russell “Jenny,” for her very generous gift of reading books, which will be used during our reading period, for Summer Camp 2009, at Classiqué International. Originally from the Island of Trinidad, Jenny is currently a book vendor in Brooklyn, New York. She has visited Dominica on several occasions and truly loves the natural, beautiful, peaceful feeling which one experiences on the Nature Island. An extremely friendly, caring, and trustworthy person, Jenny easily made new friends, as well as visited several areas in Dominica, some of which reminded her of her native Trinidad. Jenny plans to return to the island sometime this year; hopefully, during our summer camp, where she will be able to assist us with the program while enjoying our many delicious fruits, especially her favorite mangoes, which will be in abundance, during the summer months.
