Classiqué International remains a classic venue where people of all ages and culture, look forward to having an enjoyable time. By upholding the integrity and true principles by which Classiqué was created, our intention is to keep the venue free of profanity, violence and crime. Classiqué is a venue intended to accommodate a variety of functions, but not at the cost of lowering the standard by which it intends to operate. There is a time and a place for all activities—-some of them are just not suitable to be held at Classiqué. I clearly understand that people love and enjoy a variety of music; however, while the rhythm is great, some of the words are not suitable to be aired at Classiqué. Classiqué reserves the right to refuse those engagements, which in one way or the other, allow performers to operate in such a manner as to bring down the standard of the venue. Songs containing profanity are not suitable to be played at Classiqué, likewise, some DJs ought to limit the use of certain derogatory language, when performing at Classiqué. Classiqué is located in the middle of a residential community, which means, the noise can be heard for miles, throughout the village, especially during the wee hours of the morning. As the owner of Classiqué, I am obligated to monitor and control the type of music that is being played, as well as the level of profanity that is released, during any given performance. It is also important to me that the same standard and procedures be enforced during my absence. Music is universal and is meant to unite us in love, not to degrade and tear us down by encouraging violence and crime.
The reward of hosting a successful and enjoyable affair is feeling a sense of satisfaction rather than being disappointed at the end of the performance. Music sets the mood for the performance and determines the final outcome of the performance; therefore, it is important that music must be used as a tool to unite people instead of a means to create division among the masses. Play decent songs with good lyrics so people can dance and enjoy themselves. When we listen to positive music that lifts our spirits, and put us in a festive mood, we encourage and extract the best qualities from each other, ultimately, we will experience immeasurable joy and happiness, as a direct result of the music we listen to (especially the young people). Music is very powerful and can be very influential to the mind, so think before you play and choose your songs wisely. When performing, let your music be universal and your success of achieving the highest recognition, will be better guaranteed.
