The Scene
Nestled among Dominica’s palm, mango, coconut, breadfruit, and banana trees Classiqué International is the ideal venue for both formal and non-formal events. Its sweeping, multi-leveled balconies provide the perfect setting for weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, proms, concerts, and much more. Classiqué has been designed with an attention to detail and its beautiful grounds, covered with flowers, looks out over the crashing waves of the Atlantic coast—only five minutes away.
The Place
Classiqué International is located in the village of Marigot just over ten minutes from Melville Hall Airport along the winding costal roads. It is approximately forty minutes from Roseau (Dominica’s capital) and twenty-five minutes from Portsmouth—home of Ross University. Classiqué International is centralized and easily accessible.
It is centrally located and in close proximity to the Marigot Credit Union. A short walk past the Credit Union and the road descends on the radiant colors and vibrant atmosphere of Classiqué International. Classiqué has become the social center and the place where many people from different walks of life gather to celebrate. This is especially noticeable during the Carnival, Creole festival (music and cultural performances), and Dominica’s Independence celebration. Dominicans living abroad as wells as visitors, fluck to the Island to enjoy the music, cultural performances, exhibitions and other events all over the Island.
The Accommodations
Classiqué International operates in a two story high building. The white rails that hem the sweeping balconies contrast its beautiful grey walls. For overnight stays or short-term lease, Classiqué International has a comfortable suite available. For parties there is lots of balcony space, room for a bar, and open patios to accommodate your guests. For music, the patio stage is large enough to accommodate a live band.

this place is indeed the best hang out spot in marigot at the moment real classy and elegant.I just wish that there were activities on weekends. not every weekend but at least month end-weekends.I would not like it to be a place where all “riff-raffs” can come and treat it as a rum shop but a place where one can dress and just go out and have fun, relax while sipping a drink especially on a moon lit night.

I appreciate your thoughts about Classique and I share the same sentiment. I would love to have the place swinging every month end and hopefully every weekend going forward. Although Cornel was able to host a few parties prior to Carnival, I think we need to have something else to attract people to the place. Also, safety is my main concern, therefore attracting people like yourself who want to come out nicely dressed and socialize in an orderly fashion is my desire. I am thinking about making some arrangements with several people who might be able to help me make the monthly event a reality.
While in Dominica I plan to implement a few new ideas like comedy, drama and singing for example, and I hope that people will be receptive to those changes realizing that Classique is a still a work-in-progress. Thanks for your comment.

I realize the photos for the other weddind are not on .Why ? The date was incorrect it was the 20th also i rezalize the photos were mixed up.They are relly pretty photos and i must applaud your efforts for bringing some life to the village keep up the good works and may god bless you richly.

I think we needa lot more ladies drink in the bar. the last time i was there there were too many hash drinks.but i like the place.

Thanks for your suggestions. I have already spoken to Cornel about the drinks and we are in the process of mixing other drinks which will be more appealing to ladies. I frankly do not like the idea that so many women are mixing and drinking those hash drinks even more so than the men. I am back in the US at the moment so I will take the necessary equipments which will help us in preparing those drinks. Let me know of any drinks which you think will be nice to have and we will be sure to have you sample them. Your comments are very important to us as we strive to provide the best service possible. I look forward to taking Classique International in a more positive direction so that the people who enjoy being in the venue will be comfortable with the service and the environment as a whole.

Yes, the photos of the December 20th wedding are gorgeous but I needed to remove them because of an error which occurred while posting them. I will work on putting them back up as soon as possible.
